The "Guts" of a Project

The most important part of a project is often time missed.  Great detail and planning goes into figuring out how a project comes together and how all the elements will be supported and work together for a successful final product.  The following photos show a project under current construction.  The project consists of an elevated terrace and coy pond.

The client wanted an all masonry structure with elegant details throughout.  The engineered steel terrace was constructed to hold the weight of the Jerusalem grey limestone paving which is being used for the flooring.   Block was installed around the steel posts so that stainless steel anchors and pins could be installed to hold the sandblasted Jerusalem grey arches and keystones.  The remainder of the facade was brick to match the existing house.
